Known as the "coroner to the stars," Noguchi is a leitmotif in numerous books and case overviews from the mid-sixties to the mid-eighties; this 1985 compendium is more a series of "takes" on big cases -- everything from Elvis to Custer to Jeffrey MacDonald -- than a crimoir, but I've tagged it both ways.
A relatively slim hardcover, this one's in good shape despite not having a jacket: mild bumps to the corners and a couple of flecks on the page edges, but otherwise quite clean, though the spine leans to starboard a bit. A good reading copy.
