By Joe McGinniss. Cruel Doubt is "the D&D one" and I've reread it several times; something about the attorney's investigator calling Chris Pritchard a "silly little son-of-a-bitch" is so satisfying. The bogeyman of Dungeons & Dragons, less so, but...that was the eighties for you.
This hardcover appears to be a first, and the jacket is in okay shape: a sticker ghost at the top of the spine and a sticker on the back, and some edgewear. The book itself is also fine: some page toning, a slightly vague front hinge, remainder marks on top and bottom of page edges. A fine reading copy of a minor classic.
