By Don Davis. "The True Story of a Vicious Triple-Murder [sic] That Broke the Heart of a Town." You can usually count on Davis for a blunt-force title that doesn't tell you a ton about the contents; this iteration is about the disappearance and deaths of Ernest Brendel and his family. There's also, I regret to say, a crossbow.
The PB's in pretty good shape for its ilk: a faint spine crack, but sits straight, clean untoned pages. A fine reading copy of a dark story.
