By Molly Lefebure. "The adventures of a pathologist's secretary in the courts and morgues of London," and I'd like to tell you this inappropriately jaunty tone doesn't carry over into the book, but based on some of the graphics (as you'll see in the pics), there may be a bit of "what a capital lark in swinging London!" going on.
The dust jacket also had its share of adventures, as you'll see in the pics: cracks, chips, bumps, the works -- but the library's binding protected it somewhat. The spine leans forward a bit but is holding steady. Pages are pretty tight, with the expected toning; tape marks and library stamps on the flyleaves.
