Compiled by United Press International and American Heritage Magazine. Introduction by Bruce Catton. Catton is mostly known as a Civil War historian but was also editor at AH, which worked with UPI to put out this 1964...scrapbook, for lack of a better word, of the days after the assassination of President Kennedy.
The cover, which was cello-bound to protect it by a previous owner, is in pretty rough shape, but thanks to the binding, it won't get any worse -- and inside, it looks all right. Some staining, as shown, but for a book this age, not much toning. A nice, unusual pickup for case collectors.
