By Edward Jay Epstein. The first in what became Epstein's Assassination Chronicles trilogy, with an intro by Richard H. Rovere and blurbed by Dick Goodwin. Epstein was on the leading edge of published conspiracy thinking around the murder of JFK; the book came out in 1966.
So did this hardcover, whose dust jacket is in okay shape: minimal edgewear for its age, but some scuffs and toning, and what looks like Wite-Out numbering on the spine. Writing/marker on the flyleaf, and the pages are pretty toned, some foxing to edges; there’s some old-book smell here, too. But a decent reading copy overall.
