By Michael G. Santos. The author, a federal prisoner himself when he wrote the book, “documents the lives of the men warehoused in the American prison system,” the crimes that brought them there, and sometimes the crimes committed behind bars. (Santos was released to a halfway house in 2012; he continues to write and work as an educator.
Some page toning to this paperback, but it’s crisp and neat, sits straight, minimal shelfwear. A nice reading copy.
