By Lowell Cauffiel. I'm sure Jack Olsen meant well, but this blurb is so florid as to be counterproductive, in my opinion -- the jacket copy straight-up calls the death of Alan Canty at the hands (partly) of a pimp named Lucky a "lurid murder," so to invite comparisons to Capote, Wambaugh, and Bugliosi is...a choice.
You can choose to pay very little for this well-loved paperback, which has edgewear, a couple of nicks, a cracked spine, and mildly toned pages (one tiny dog-ear as well). And then you can choose to recycle it if you like; the price is right.
