By Patricia Cornwell. Cornwell's name is by far the largest thing on the cover of this updated edition of her...fine, I'll just say it: crackpot theory about who the Ripper really was. But this nonsense, which is written as well as her Scarpetta books (whatever that might mean to you), sold huge and is probably worth picking up for case completists.
The paperback is in readable shape: cracked spine, some edgewear and creasing to covers, a couple of little stickers, but the pages, while toned, are snug and unmarked. A solid budget reading copy.
