By Jack Olsen. Olsen's bestseller on the wrongful conviction of Steve Titus for rape (the ordeal of the case felled both Titus and one of the lead investigators with heart attacks). Paul Henderson won a Pulitzer for his coverage of the case while it was ongoing; Olsen's book came along a few years later, and ties in the reign of terror of one McDonald "Mac" Smith.
This paperback's got a cut-back front cover; mild shelfwear to edges, page toning, and a cracked spine. Sits nice and straight, though, with clean pages inside -- a fine reading copy.
