By Sheila Weller. (Yes, "the Raging Heart lady," and the titling instincts have not improved.) Anyone else remember when Vanity Fair seemed to have a longform piece about Kelly's lamming it, like, every month? If you do, nothing on the back cover -- Kelly's gradual escalation; the closing of the Darien ranks around him -- is that surprising, but I do give the book credit for putting the most slappable picture possible of Kelly on the front cover.
This hardcover's in good shape -- a sticker on the front; an anti-theft device on the back board, which has come through the jacket a bit (see pics); some edgewear to the jacket, a remainder mark, and pretty advanced page toning for a book this age. But it's straight and neat; a good reading copy.
