By Bernard O’Donnell. From the author of The World’s Worst Women comes this meditation on whether capital punishment is appropriate for the fairer sex [eyeroll emoji].
A 1956 hardcover from a UK publisher, this one’s jacket is in really rough shape — tears, flakes, rubbing and soiling, the lot — but I’ve put a wrap on it to slow things down. The boards are in decent shape for that; inside, it’s slightly better, some spotting to page edges and mild toning, but unmarked, no dog-ears. Relatively rare, and a solid research pick-up in the subgenre.
