By William Allen. A mid-'70s paperback on Charles Starkweather. (Caril Ann Fugate, still living and paroled the same year the PB dropped, isn't mentioned in the cover copy, but there's an epilogue about her then-status as an inmate in a Nebraska penitentiary.) The photographs are actually pretty dark. I can't agree with the roller-disco choices in font style and color (or the matching pink tint of the page edges), though; I know these were basically children, but: no.
The book has noticeable edgewear, a cracked spine that leans forward, and page toning. Some rubbing to the covers. Edge tint is fairly bright, pages are relatively snug...a relative rarity, informative for movie buffs and vintage-forensic-psych readers.
