By Donald H. Wolfe. Film editor and screenwriter Wolfe's theory about Elizabeth Short's murder is probably a crackpot one, but it's an entertaining journey involving Bugsy Siegel, Norman Chandler, and a coordinated coverup in the highest precincts of L.A. power.
The paperback has been loved: shelfwear, a couple small creases to the covers. But no writing, no dog-ears, and the spine is sturdy and uncracked. A good copy if you want to see what Wolfe's woolgathering is all about, but don't care to invest in brand-new.
