By John Douglas & Mark Olshaker. An underrated compendium from one of the founders of the FBI profiling program -- and while Douglas's self-promotion tends to be ruthless elsewhere, it's less intrusive here. Cases include not just Jack and JonBenét but Bembenek, Black Dahlia, the Lindbergh kidnapping, the Boston Strangler, and others. I've come back to this one many times.
This hardcover is in really nice shape -- very mild cornerwear to the jacket, but sits straight, pages tight; may never have been read. A lovely reading copy of a minor classic.
