By William Manchester. Among the best accounts of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, very informative and free of conspiracy cobwebs. Not that the family was thrilled with it, but you can't have everything. The book was originally serialized in Look, and occasionally I do have those originals in stock; click the "JFK" tag to see what's available.
This is a handsome first edition with previous owner's book label on the inside jacket flap; said jacket is in quite nice shape for its age, some minor edgewear. Inside, the book itself is in perfectly fine, readable shape: a mild backward lean to the spine, but clean pages, mild toning, and a nice vintage deckle edge.
