By William Manchester. Among the best accounts of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, very informative and free of conspiracy cobwebs. Not that the family was thrilled with it, but you can't have everything. The book was originally serialized in Look, and occasionally I do have those originals in stock; click the "JFK" tag to see what's available.
This is a Book of the Month hardcover whose jacket shows the expected damage (see pics) -- happy to throw a wrap on if you like. The book itself is in perfectly fine, readable shape: straight spine, neat pages, no marks or dog-ears (some scuffs/a pen mark to the page edges), and a nice vintage deckle edge. A fine reading copy.
