By John Toland. “The blood-spattered history of the era of Machine Gun Kelly, Bonnie and Clyde, Pretty Boy Floyd, Baby Face Nelson and Public Enemy No. 1 — John Dillinger,” as well as “Ma Barker and her appalling family of murdering morons.” Tell us how you really feel about Prohibition-era gangsters!
This 1969 PB printing is in pretty good shape: toning to cover and pages, but the spine is uncracked and straight; page tint is still fairly bright, clean inside except for a previous owner’s name on the flyleaf. A nice vintage pickup.
