By Robert Mayer. Not sure whether Grisham’s account or this one is the better known when it comes to the murder of Denice Haraway in 1984, and the judicial nightmare that followed for Tommy Ward and Karl Fontenot. This is the one Bill James recommends, however.
This PB has seen better days — edgewear, page toning, and a quite extensive review of the case by a previous owner — but that last thing is sort of charming, and the pages are holding steady. A good enough reading copy of a pretty big case.
