By Don Whitehead. With a foreword by J. Edgar Hoover. "A book that tells the fascinating stories behind the headlines -- stories of saboteurs, spies, communists and gangsters!" The book, per the front cover, was "made into an exciting movie starring James Stewart," so I guess that's supposed to be him on the cover looking like he's about to sneeze?
The old-book smell on this paperback probably won't make YOU sneeze, as it's not that strong for a 1956 Cardinal edition, and the PB's in pretty good shape: a cracked spine with a slight twist; page toning; some folds and dings to the covers and a folded page here and there. But it's holding its shape, and you've got to love that ur-Eisenhower cover design.
