By Susan Atkins-Whitehouse. Atkins wrote a LOT about the Manson family and the murders they committed, probably more than is seemly, but even I’m intrigued by this tiny-press 2012 crimoir claiming to puncture the mystique surrounding Manson and “Helter Skelter.”
It’s not in great shape, this PB — edgewear and soil/spots on the page edges; a rumpled front cover; the formatting is a little hectic, and there’s a previous owner’s notes and highlighting inside — but it sits straight, no dog-ears, and somewhat scarce. This one’ll do as a reading or research copy.
