By Joseph Wambaugh. A vintage paperback from the era of color-edge pages, from shortly after Wambaugh's classic "true story of two young cops and two young robbers" -- which the Times called "more ambitious than In Cold Blood" -- became a movie. It's a second Dell printing from 1979.
There's the expected shelfwear and creasing to the spine, and page toning, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a copy of this one with no spine cracks. Still looks vintage, but very low "mileage" on this PB.
