By M. G. Bonner. Illustrated by Vincent Fodera. A 1957 Book Club Edition hardcover, this is a guide for young adults to what happens "behind the scenes in the Police Headquarters," and "ingenious devices that have been invented in this fight" against crime.
The jacket is quite worn, as shown, but holding reasonably steady despite splits, edgewear, rubbing, etc. I am happy to add a wrap on request. Boards are edgeworn as well, but inside, despite some stamps and scribbles on the flyleaf from previous stops, the pages are clean, with very little toning and a nice deckle edge. A midcentury curio in decent shape.
