By Carolyn Anspacher. “The torture-slaying of a beautiful showgirl by her physican husband and the sensational trial that followed recreated here by the San Francisco Chronicle’s star reporter,” who apparently doesn’t believe in commas when recounting Geza de Kaplany’s grisly killing of his wife.
This 1967 first-printing PB is very well kept for its age: a previous owner’s name on the flyleaf, some mild edgewear and some page toning, but an uncracked and straight spine; edge tint is still quite bright. A striking reading copy.
