By Carlton Stowers. Not exactly light reading from the Edgar-winner, as it involves the exhumation of a 2-year-old, and you don't have to get past the dust jacket to realize it's an especially bleak tale.
Said dust jacket has been through it, somewhat: a tear on the front, significant cornerwear, and a couple of small holes. The pages are clean inside, however (despite a fleck of, I think, coffee, on the bottom edge), and this stated first is a fine reading copy.
