By Arthur Train. Part of "The True Stories of Celebrated Crimes" series from McKinley Stone & Mackenzie; it's difficult for me to discern whether some of these publications were authorized or not. The title paper on the spine looks a bit makeshift.
The hardcover's in decent trim for a 1908 publication, though: some scuffs to the boards, a weakened front hinge, and page toning as you'd expect, but it sits straight and is perfectly readable. An interesting antique curio or gift for a historian.
