By Gary Kinder. An armed robbery turned fatal; a teenager, his mother killed in the hold-up, trying to rebuild. Basically a victim-impact statement from the early '80s.
It's a well-worn PB, as you can see -- the usual complement of shelfwear, cover creasing, a cracked spine with a slight lean and cock to it, some writing on the flyleaf and some page toning. But it's a good enough reading copy of a book that was somewhat ahead of its time.
