By Linda Wolfe. This book isn't particularly good, but it's very typical of the genre...and I have had no fewer than three copies that I lent to people just never get returned, so I guess it's doing something right.
Not something I can say for the previous owner, because this paperback has some issues: sticker on the front cover, as shown; sticker ghost on the spine, which is cracked AND twisted; bent corners, folded pages, page toning, writing on the flyleaf...it doesn't smell bad but that's just about the only thing ain't wrong with it. Usually I'd donate a dog this tired to the local Little Library, but the book's a minor classic, and at two bucks, it's a good investment versus stealing from your true-crime-expert friend ;).
