By Linda Wolfe. This book isn't particularly good, but it's very typical of the genre...and I have had no fewer than three copies that I lent to people just never get returned, so I guess it's doing something right.
Not necessarily something I can say for the previous owner, because this paperback has a couple issues: edgewear; a faint spine crack; one quadrant of the book is warped, although storing it between a couple dictionaries would probably take care of that. But the book's a minor classic on a major case -- a good investment versus stealing from your true-crime-expert friend ;).
